REVIVER project development
Inspired by themes of rediscovery and restoration, the animation explores the process of bringing forgotten films back into view of film goers.
Responding to keywords such as RESTORATION and RESURRECTION, and informed by REVIVER’s catalogue spanning horror, thriller, drama, and action, I developed and presented three creative directions following the initial client conversation.

Resurrection Lights
The REVIVER logo emerges from darkness through beams of light, symbolising restoration and resurrection.
A minimal reveal focused on atmosphere, contrast, and cinematic anticipation.
RGB Reconstruction
The logo is reconstructed through playful shape transformations — shifting and morphing into its final logo.
Inspired by RGB colour separation and digital image generation, the animation reflects REVIVER’s role in restoring and bringing forgotten films back into circulation.
Celluloid Fragments
A sequence of moving film reels gradually reveals fragments of both the logo and the wordmark before assembling into the final identity.
The rolling and saturated film textures evoke discovery, nostalgia, and the uncovering of forgotten cinema.
